RSS Media Best Practices: Why Pick AMR?

            We had the opportunity to sit down with Kevin San Juan, the President and CEO of Advanced Medical Resources, to pick his mind. He brings with him numerous years in the business of building executive teams in health care, and he is even a member of the Pinnacle Society which is an elite group in his industry.

            The first question we asked him was, “What is the biggest problem the average client has when finding talent?” His answer is that most clients have a hard time committing to the search. They often will not reach out to his group until later in the search; he wants to tell anyone who is interested in using their services to get his firm involved in the beginning of their search, instead of trying out different tactics, and they will have better results! There is always an urgency that comes with trying to fill a position, but when companies use their own plans they often take too long with the interview process and lose the best candidates.

            We then asked him, “What are the top five benefits of using AMR as a search firm?” The following is his answer:

 

  1. Experience- He is a member of pinnacle society, an elite group in the industry, which is full of high achievers with ethical processes. His employees share the same values as him and they bring that to every client that his firm works with.
  2. Engaged search- People receive the best results when using his firm. When someone fully trusts them to do the best job possible, they deliver tremendous results. This is due to the attention, experience, and skill that his employees have when it comes to finding and recruiting the top candidates for their clients.
  3. Presence of brand AMR can create- They create marketing profile that involves multiple aspects including marketing to the community. Their reputation warrants the right to be trusted, and they will in turn create specialized and thorough marketing campaigns that carry the same level of respect for their clients.
  4. Exclusivity- The brand of the AMR firm brings a level of respect and trust which is transferred to their candidates. If one client uses multiple recruiters, it looks bad when trying to hire. Candidates will begin to ask: why do they need multiple recruiters?
  5. Engaged and exclusive search allows client to trust in them- If they do not do their job in the agreed time frame, then their client can break exclusivity and work with other firms. The client can make changes to the search, and in the case that AMR is unsuccessful, they also want to move on and make changes in the search parameters. Clients should not worry because his firm has a history of success when allowed to do an exclusive and engaged search. In fact, 100% of time they have been successful because they work hard to match the culture of the client to their candidates. They really take the time and care to find candidates that fit.
